Negative eating disorders often have a basis in early childhood trauma or learned beliefs, such as being forced to eat until stuffed, believing that one must be petite and slender to be accepted, or believing that comfort lies in food. Hypnotherapy can clear these traumas, beliefs and negative patterns through Inner Child work, through Voice Dialogue, in which I encourage your various selves to express themselves, visualizations of your new and ideal behavior, and a variety of Neuro-linguistic Programming processes, in which I help you reprogram yourself to establish new beliefs and habits. My support in the area of eating disorders encompasses looking at a client’s food choices, eating habits, exercise activities, peer group, and environmental influences, as well as offering hypnotherapy techniques to create change.
